One thing that has been a bit more of a difficult chore with the iPads is file sharing. I know that Dropbox is a great option but I have found our server and wifi network to be a bit frustrating. There are times when our wireless network can't seem to handle the load of the iPads and all the other wireless devices in our classroom. It would be easier if we had one iPad for each student as they could save their work on the iPad and then not have to worry about transferring the files or having someone else access their work without them knowing.
One thing for sure is that iPads are great personal devices for learning. The key word being 'personal'. One user per device.
